Shopping in Rome

Spending time shopping in Rome is a good option. There are a variety of things one can buy and bring home.

If one likes to be fashionable, one will need to check Piazza di Spagna out because that´s where the most important fashion houses like Armani, Versace, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Prada are located, if you’re thinking that going shopping to those places would be extra expensive you are 100% right, as to look fashionable in Rome is really expensive. Nike and Adidas have a shop too, so you can buy your favorite sport clothing. If your budget does not include buying such exclusive designs, you can always go to Via del Babuino where you can buy vintage clothing.

If you like cars, go to Vía del Corso where Ferrari is located. The most luxury cars you have ever seen are there. Swarowski is characterized by offering the most spectacular glass works, this shop is there too.

If you have the money to visit Rome but are in kind of a budget for souvenirs and stuff, the Flea Markets which are located in Porta Portese are good options too. You won’t find labels like Versace but prices are so seriously cheap! Some markets where you can find fresh food are the Plaza Vittorio where many people from different parts of the world sell many strange products.

Near Fontana di Trevi, there are lots of small souvenir shops where you can get key rings, small replicas of the main monuments and many knickknacks. In stores known as Pinocchio shops, one can find different kinds of toys but all made of wood; they´d be funny for kids. The cheapest places where to go shopping are the Vatican Museums, it seems incredible but it’s true. If you’re looking for places where to buy books or music in La Feltrinellis you can find all you want.

Going shopping in Rome is a great experience; you don’t really need much money to get a good thing or two from Rome.
