There are many ways to arrive in Pisa; in this guide you will find the many ways available to get to this beautiful city.
  • Pisa by Plane:

    The main way to get to Pisa is by plane, Pisa has one of the most important airports in the Tuscany region called Galileo Galilei in honor of the famous scientist. This airport is connected to the main cities of Italy and Europe; it is near 1Km from the center of the city. One can reach the airport by train or by taxi. The journey takes about 10 minutes from the city center and the airport. You reach the airport by the A12 from Genoa, Florence, and Pisa. The A11 connects the airport to Leghorn, Pisa and Florence. Many tourists who book flights to pisa, disembark at one of the most important airports in the Tuscany region called Galileo Galilei in honor of the famous scientist.

  • Pisa by Train:

    Pisa has three important train stations, the main station is Pisa centrale it has connection with many Italian and European Cities, this station is located in the center of the town, the second station is the Pisa San Rossore station and finally the third station is Pisa Migliarino station which has only connections to some cities in Italy.

  • Pisa by car:

    If you want to visit Pisa from Genoa or Milan: take the A12 Genova-Pisa highway to get there. If you want to visit Pisa from Rome one can take the A12 Roma-Civitavecchia highway and the E80 expressway to get there. If you want to visit Pisa from Florence one can take the A11 Firenze-Mare highway or the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno expressway to get there.

    And if you want to visit other places around Pisa, it is better to ask the people who live there or maybe a police officer.
