Painting & Sculpture: The fifteenth century outside of Florence

Sculpture and painting were influenced by new ideas and styles, cities like Venice, Padua and Rome were the first to adopt these styles, due to political and religious facts such as the reestablishment of the Papal Court.

Art had Greco-Roman influences; sculpture changed some stylistic aspects such as drama, exaggerated expressions and poses, while painting emphasized perspective in landscapes and figures in general, effects of light are included.

Some of the most recognized Works are from Andrea Mantegna with "Court of Mantua", Piero della Francesca, and the Bellini family.
