Painting & Sculpture: The precursors of Renaissance


The Renaissance was the period that took humanity to the modern world, from middles ages anointing to this period there was a time known as the precursors of Renaissance when very famous painters and sculptors developed new styles for art.

Giotto was one of the representative painters in this Period; he gave life to his paintings and backgrounds were endowed of perspective, other creative artist of all times.

It was common to find La Madonna (Jesus Mother) in many images before Renaissance, saint portraits such as Saint Francis, also its sculptures; The Period was called The Primitives, and The Gothic Period is included.
