Museums for Kids in Rome
Museo dei Bambini
Opened in 2000 this children-dedicated museum aims teaching young ones, under twelve, many aspects regarding the world beyond them with a large variety of dynamic participation activities, in which they play being grown-ups, having surgeries, conducting programs, taking part on the experiments of the laboratory and many other experiences in a lapse of 01:15 hours.
The pre-established visit departures are at 10:00, 12:00, 15:00, and 17:00 hours, from Tuesday to Sunday, and from September to July. At 12:00, 15:00 and 17:00 hours, from Tuesday to Sunday in August.

Museo di Zoologia
As a scientific and cultural center, the museum preserves and studies animal biodiversity, shares knowledge, and gathers a wide collection of stuffed animals on its older side, which we can see on its permanent exhibitions, as well as the animals on their reconstructed habitats, on the new section. The museum also holds permanent cultural events that involve public participation, to treat natural world themes.
It’s located in Via Ulisse Aldovrandi 18, next to the zoo; you can find it open from 09:00 to 17:00 hours, every day, except Mondays.

Museo della Civiltà Romana
The Roman Civilization museum exhibits replicas of Rome’s important buildings and statues, models of Imperial and Ancient Rome, reconstructed cities, reconstructions of situations and instruments, on its 59 sections. Close at hand, into the same building, the Planetarium is located.
It’s located in Piazza G. Agnelli 10, on the way to Luna Park; and you can find it open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 09:00 to 14:00 hours, and on Sundays, from 09:00 to 13:30 hours.
General entrance is 7.50 Euros, and for children 5.50 Euros.
