Assisi:

Is a popular destination in Umbria, the Green heart of Italy; Assisi was the place of birth of Saint Francis (San Francesco), who is the patron saint of Italy. Itís a peaceful place, with museums, churches, ruins and the saint Francis Basilica where the tomb of Saint Francis is kept. Many believers travel to this place for pilgrimage.

Galleria dell'Accademia:

Itís one of the most important museums around the world; this place features the famous Michelangeloīs sculpture: The David, and a wonderful collection of paintings and other invaluable sculptures organized in 24 rooms.

Leaning Tower of Pisa:

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is considered an icon of Italy and Europe; itís a stunning building because it seems to defy gravity with a lean of 5.5 degrees. Volcano Etna is not only the most impressive volcano; itís also the greatest mountain in Italy and counts with a rich wildlife that includes different species of animals, such us lizards, foxes, squirrels, cats, falcons and birds as well as plants.

Palazzo Te:

The Palazzo Te is an impressive building under the mannerist style; its construction (1524-1534) was commissioned to a pupil of the famous Raphael. The building has magnificent rooms with a great collection of Mesopotamian art and mannerism productions of artists from ancient times.

The Colosseum:

Itís Is one of the most imposing buildings around Italy, it was initially known as the Flavius Amphitheatre; the coliseum was the largest public entertainment arena in ancient times and featured different shows from comedies in the mornings to gladiator events in the afternoon. Romans used lions for the afternoon events, these animals were starved for three days before the contest and if the animals couldnít kill the gladiators then they were killed by men trained to do that.
